If the networks and the newspapers cover it as they did his campaign, in detail and at length, he again will need to spend little to win. It is fairer to the public if his stops and speeches are noted in a headline, and described in a paragraph, then passed for discussion of the meaning of the suggested cabinet appointments, or the performance histories of the men or the companies with which they are connected.
Maybe news people could then do some news gathering and analysis rather than huckstering.

To the Republicans who suddenly see the dark in the man to which they were willing to cede our country:
Nothing he has said or done in the last weeks, nothing we have discovered in the last few days, is new or unknown about him. Before he began campaigning in primaries, you could easily see and hear what and who he was. But you have become practiced at listening to and catering to men who have and share money with you more than you listen to the people you're voted to serve or the gods you pray to follow.
You followed him, silent behind his blatant, obvious, and constant lies, xenophobia, churlish, hateful, racist, misogynist language and behavior because, despite what you had to know about him, you wanted what you thought he could give you more than you loved this country or cared about serving its citizens - all of its citizens - today's and tomorrow's, rich, poor, young, old, yours, theirs or mine.

You know there is a reason that Donald so often seems to be doing exactly the wrong things to get elected. He's really daring you to elect him. He believes that if you see what he's like, what he can and will do to people who dislike him, people who try to best him, people who try to enforce civilized and judicial behavior on him, that you will still chose his show of strength (no matter his choice of victims), chose his beautiful colors (even though they're on his scales), chose his tongue (no matter its sting); that you will elect him.
He's that kid in the schoolyard who doesn't like you, wants to ruin your rep, wants to take your place, your friends, your social, ethical, and intellectual standing... by making you take THE dare.
