The tax cut bill that the Republican House of Representatives and Senate are feverishly trying to rush past voters guarantees a that a family of four earning less than $100,000 will lose money. This means that a family with children will pay more for government benefits like road maintenance, healthy food and pharmaceutical certification and maintenance, voting regulation and management, banking and insurance regulation, traffic regulation, power production and transmission, communication services (phones, TV, Radio, Internet) transportation maintenance (railroad tracks, highways, airports).
It also means that in retirement you will receive lower or no Social Security, and that Medicare and Medicaid programs will fail to cover any but the least treatment except for the 1-2% of the population, not the citizens, who voted in the last election and can afford the exorbitant fees.
Mr. Grand Destructor,
Please make America Great again.
Once upon a time I was a scoutmaster. Our troop had a project in which we distributed new and used clothing and linen. We had boxes and stacks of these goods that were still being delivered while we were giving them away. We wanted to know what we gave away and how much of it.
We couldn't ask the recipients what they wanted or needed. Really we didn't care. We counted what we gave away while we worked and we created and filled in the forms AFTER we were done. (FEMA in Puerto Rico)
No government. No Army, Air Force, Navy, or Marines. 11-14 year old Black, Asian, Mexican, and White boys taking care of business.
It wasn't money, it was honor.
I try to avoid making heavily personal comments. I was educated and employed in white environments. Though initially in the early '60s, this was difficult, eventually, it was successful. Until recently, I have been comfortable in my nation, my communities, and my homes. Though my concern is under control, besides being disturbed and somewhat scared, I am sorely disappointed.
Do congressmen really believe that their own constituents will agree with Trump over things these congressmen "say" they disagree with? If so, then one must suspect that these congresspeople are at least willing to agree 'for a price' - that their own moral boundary is no higher or firmer than his, and their own memory of our national history is flawed.
Congress will find it necessary eventually to 'save' the press in order to insure an equitable platform for themselves during future elections. And they WON'T get them from him - Check it out! He gets paid by richer patrons; if money counts and we don't, WE ALL LOSE!

I have many more friends on Facebook than I ever expected to have. I want to thank all of you. Because I have so many friends from so many places, I try to avoid making heavily personal comments. But besides being disturbed and somewhat scared, I'm am sorely disappointed.

In the rage of Trump.
His lawyers are trying to thwart the proceeding of a case brought by anti-Trump demonstrators at his rally who were physically removed with force from his rally. These demonstrators were removed by the rally staff, and were struck and otherwise bullied by members of the audience. Trump claims that his right of free speech permits removal of the demonstrators.
The demonstrators of course claim the same right. After some consideration I have an opinion.
I think both sides have a certain amount of valid claim to that right. I also think that each has exceeded their expression of that right. I think each has, by this element in the constitution, to freedom of expression. I believe, however, that by his hosting of the venue and the event, Mr. Trump has a certain right to control expression. This does not, however, include the right to physically control the demonstrators.
